Hans Wouters
Is Partner and co-founder of Bright Work. Hans is originally a civil engineer with special expertise in the field of sanitary engineering. After his studies at the TU Delft he ended up in the world of wastewater, drinkingwater and processwater manufacturing. He performed various functions in the Dutch businesses. Among which he was responsible for the construction of a hundred refineries. Having over twenty years experience in process design, master planning, project, process and business management, business development and innovation makes him a valuable partner.

Remmie Neef
Remmie Neef has over 23 years of experience in the field of (communal) waste water treatment. During these years he has been employed by a water board (later named "Waternet") and a leading engineering company. Especially during his employment with the water board he was active with the optimization of waste water treatment works where he researched extensive nutrient removal, sludge handing and helped designing treatment works. One of his tasks was advising and supporting controllers on the proceedings of the waste water treatment works. He also worked on planning and policy development (for instance about water control plans) in the area of the waste water chain and the closure of the water cycle. The last few years he has contributed to the development of filtration techniques, the after treatment of effluent and a number of STOWA projects. He helped with the professionalizing of project and program management and he was involved with the "Design&Construct" tracks in the communal waste water world.

Astrid van de Ven
Astrid is a process engineer within out team. With a mathematical background (University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands) she loves to analyse complex issues in order to find structural solutions. Datamanagement, statistical analysis and evaluation, using her thorough knowledge of visual basic, delphi, C++ and Java is what she prefers to explore.

Ida Deinum-Heins
After high school Ida started working at an insurance company and at the municipality of Sneek. When a child was on the way, she stopped working. Later on, she followed courses and started to work again as an administrative assistant. For the past 20 years she was employed by Donkergroen BV. As of the first of September 2011 Ida went on an early retirement.
When the question arose to go back to work, she considered it carefully, but she could not resist the challenge to get back to work for one day a week in a small business.

Eddy van Opijnen
“Cooperating creatively to achieve sustainable solutions” This is the goal that Eddy van Opijnen represents within Brightwork. After finishing his Environmental Science studies at the van Hall Larenstein Institute at Leeuwarden, Eddy has joined Brightwork as Junior Process Engineer. With a practical view and his natural enthusiasm he will pursue the developments and applications of purification technologies for industrial and communal (waste)water treatment.
